Dr. Sneha Kumari, an alumnus of CIT Kokrajhar (2nd Batch of Diploma and 1st batch of B.Tech in the Department of ECE). After completing her Diploma and B. Tech, she joined Birla Institute of Technology Mesra Ranchi for Masters in ECE Department. She completed her Masters with distinction in 2015. Subsequently, she was awarded the Visvesvaraya Fellowship, a national award offered by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Govt. of India to carry out Ph.D. in the IIT Patna, India, an Institute of National Importance. She completed Ph.D. in September, 2021 and got postdoc offers from different research organisations such as National Institute of Nuclear Physics (Pisa), IMEC Belgium, Ghent University (Belgium) and IISc Bangalore (India). Recently she joined IISc Bangalore as a postdoctoral fellow. Her research interest includes silicon photonics, hybrid optical interconnects and quantum-computing based devices. She have published the research findings in different top-ranked journals and transactions.
